The elegant Ocean Pure 2 is a custom 41m sloop designed by Farr Yacht Design and built by Concorde Yachts. This proven blue water cruiser was first launched in 1992, but underwent a multi-million euro refit in 2019, allowing her to become the perfect example of a sailing yacht for her size and class. She combines all the luxurious amenities of a superyacht with the joy of sailing, thanks to her exceptional seaworthiness and performance.

Owned by a well-known French editor and hotelier, the recent refit of Ocean Pure 2 was done with keen attention paid to design and the French concept of art de vivre. As such, her exterior spaces were upgraded to feature beautiful teak decking and chic black sails. There is ample opportunity for sunbathing and relaxing across her three decks—including a unique deck located on top of the wheelhouse, perfect for watching the sunset or sunbathing with a cocktail. Her outdoor spaces are perfect for entertaining, with spacious al fresco dining and lounging areas.

Thanks to her incredible volume of 225GT, she can comfortably accommodate 11 guests across five cabins, including one master suite with walk-in wardrobe, one VIP cabin, two double guest cabins and one guest double or twin cabin, with both a double and a single bed. She is, in fact, one of the few 40m sailing yachts with a five-cabin configuration. Each has an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as the usual modern amenities like air conditioning and satellite TV, on-demand movies and a bluetooth music system.

Ocean Pure 2 has a range of up to 2,600 nautical miles at 9 knots. The current owner has crossed the Atlantic aboard and found it truly enjoyable, particularly thanks to her recent refit. This full refurbishment included a new engine and gearboxes, two new generators, new shafts and equipment upgrades. All lights were replaced. Her mast, rigging and sails were also inspected and upgraded. In addition, she benefitted from a full hull inspection, repaired keel and hull joint, coppercoat antifouling and new seacocks. In summary, she is exceptionally seaworthy and in turnkey condition.

She boasts an enlarged beach club, diving or swimming platform and a spacious garage, which comes equipped with a plethora of water toys, including a kayak, water skis, surfboards, wakeboards and stand-up paddleboards, as well as snorkelling and fishing equipment. She has a dive centre with compressor, making her a fantastic choice for diving and scuba enthusiasts. She also comes with a tender on board - the Highfield 460 with Yanmar D-Tork.
